30 Days of Blogging : Ever See Yourself Doing What You are Doing?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I was a kid I wanted to be a newscaster or an interior designer .At  7 ,  I already looked up to Tina-Monzon- Palma who was a news anchor at RPN 9's newswatch. Local actress Janice de Belen was also part of RPN 9's Newswatch Junior Edition. I thought I wanted to become like them.

However, For some reason, as a child I loved to play teacher. I would gather the kids younger than I was from our neighborhood.I would teach them how to read, to count, and to sing the songs I had learnt from school.Sometimes, I would mimic my own teacher.  I would put on my mother's rouge and pencil skirt and speak in front of the mirror with mini-blackboard on the background and a stick at one hand pointing out each letters on the alphabet.

In college, I took up Communication Arts with a thought that I could penetrate the broadcasting industry but fate brought me to the academe.I have worked in the corporate world ,in fact I quit teaching in 2007 but after a year, I found myself in the classroom again.  I had thought elementary  and secondary students for 5 years in a private school before I became an online ESL teacher to Koreans and Chinese.

Perhaps, I was destined to be where I am now. And it is with profound joy and gratitude that I am able to serve God through my passion.

"Serve eagerly as if you were serving your heavenly master and not merely serving human masters."

  1. Even though things do not always end up the way we hoped they would, God does do more than we could hope or imagine. I can think of quite a few times when things in my life did not turn out as I thought it should, end the end I am happy with the results.

  2. Hello Felecia! Thanks for taking time to drop by my blog.

When everything seems like falling into pieces , carry on. It means something good is starting to fall into place. It's God's work.
